A quick note before we get into today’s issue. As we’re closing in on one year of LiB, we’re taking a week off to do some thinking about what comes next. So after Saturday’s roundup the next issue will arrive on 14 March.
You can tell there’s a lot going on in Brixton right now because a couple of weeks ago Samuel L. Jackson rocked up there and hardly anyone batted an eyelid.
Sam was filming (another) Marvel TV series in South London and decided to do that adorable tourist thing of taking a picture of the Electric Avenue sign (below). Then he did what many of us would do while bored on his break: he posted a picture of his lunch (it was, to be fair, a pretty great looking lunch, courtesy of Rudie's Jerk Shack).
But people in Brixton have got more to worry about than what the Snakes On A Plane guy is having for his dinner. So here’s a quick rundown of the most recent developments coming out of SW9.
