There's good news and there's bad news

There just happens to be way more of one than the other

This issue started off as a simple look at some of the biggest issues effecting London right now. Things like pollution, housing, homelessness, etc. But once we started writing it, we realised just how depressing all of this can become when it’s all piled up on top of each other.

And, while we don’t want to stick our heads in the sand and ignore some all of these challenges, we also don’t want to ignore the fact that this is still a remarkable and beautiful city that happens to suffer from the kind of problems that will inevitably beset a major world capital.

So, as a compromise, for every bit of ‘bad news’ we’ve added in a little scrap of ‘good news’ to try and balance things out. And not just the ‘Tom Cruise and Olly Murs are going to be at the Coronation’ kind of ‘good news’ - actual positive things that are making the city better for people.
