CCTV counts for London are notoriously dodgy. And it all goes back to people (like security companies) using a survey based on walking around two streets in Putney.
We did check the methodology on this before we used it and it actually seemed more thorough then a lot of surveys we see on a daily basis. Our reference does sound a little more definitive than it should though, we'll edit the copy to reflect the 'margin of error'.
