Hiya again. Am pretty sure this photo in the article is not The Coleherne. The photo of the whole building accessed from the link in the Wiki article above shows it in all its splendor front entrance and side entrance neither of which resembles the entrance in the photo in Stewart's article. One possibility is that it shows the entrance to the old Catacombs club round the corner. But not even sure of that.
Yeah, we'd assumed it was a shot of the back of the pub (as it's obviously where the entrance to the gents is), but we'll double check and see if Getty has lied to us...
Ahh! Could be wrong.. but never remember a back entrance to the Gents. Dimly remember that there was a re-furb. And the 'configuration' of the Gents was swung round. So, perhaps this was prior to that??????
